The Content Library is the place in Swashi where every article the AI has written for your account is kept. Open **Content Library** in the sidebar to read any article, copy its HTML, open the live page on your website, or turn it into a social media draft in one click. It is useful for business owners and marketers who want to reuse their website content without searching their site.

## Before you start

- The library fills up as Swashi writes articles. Set up topics in [Website Content](https://swashi.io/docs/content/website-content) first.
- To get a live page link for each article, [connect your website](https://swashi.io/docs/content/connect-your-website) so articles publish automatically.

If you have no articles yet, the page shows "No content generated yet".

## What you see in the Content Library

Click **Content Library** in the sidebar. The page header reads "Check and Track your recently posted Content in one place". Two buttons sit in the header:

- **View Docs** opens Swashi's help docs. See [Get help with Swashi](https://swashi.io/docs/account/get-help).
- **Schedule** opens the Schedule page with your upcoming articles and posts. See [Schedule](https://swashi.io/docs/content/schedule).

Your articles appear in a table, newest first. The library shows your 50 most recent articles.

| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| **Article Title** | The article's title, or its topic if it has no title |
| **Category** | The category you chose for the article, or "General" |
| **Date** | The day the article was created |
| **Words** | The article's word count |
| **Actions** | The buttons described below |

## Read an article and copy its HTML

1. Click the **View Content** icon (the eye) on the article's row.
2. A window opens with the title, the word count, the featured image and the full article.
3. Click **Copy HTML** to copy the article's HTML. The app confirms "HTML copied to clipboard!"
4. Paste the HTML wherever you need it, for example into a page builder or a newsletter tool.

> **Tip:** Copy HTML is handy when your website is not connected to Swashi. You can paste the article into your site by hand.

## Open the live page

Click the **View Live** icon (the globe) to open the published article on your website in a new tab. This icon only appears when the article has a live address. If an article did not publish, you will not see it. Check your connection in **Website Settings** and see [Connect your website](https://swashi.io/docs/content/connect-your-website).

## Turn an article into a social media post

1. Click the **Push to Social Studio** icon (the share symbol) on the article's row.
2. Confirm "Create a social media draft from this article?"
3. When the app shows "Draft created in Social Studio!", open **Social Studio**. The new draft is in your queue, ready to edit and schedule.

The draft is written from the article's title and summary, and links back to the live article when there is one.

> **Note:** Each draft counts toward your plan's monthly social post allowance. If the app shows "Failed to create draft.", check what your plan has left. See [Plans and billing](https://swashi.io/docs/account/plans-and-billing).

To edit, schedule or post the draft, follow [Create and schedule posts](https://swashi.io/docs/social/social-studio).

## The Boost button

The **Boost** button on each row is greyed out and marked **Soon**. Hovering over it shows "Paid ad campaigns are coming soon". It does nothing yet.

## Outreach Sent Emails

Below your articles, the **Outreach Sent Emails** list shows the most recent emails your outreach campaigns sent. Each row has the **Business**, **To Email**, **Subject** and when it was **Sent**. The list appears only after your campaigns have sent emails. To manage campaigns, see [Email Studio](https://swashi.io/docs/outreach/email-studio).

## Troubleshooting

- **"No content generated yet":** no article has been written for your account yet. Add topics in **Website Content**.
- **An older article is missing:** the library lists your 50 most recent articles.
- **No View Live icon:** the article has no live address yet. Check **Website Settings**.
- **"Failed to create draft.":** your monthly social post allowance may be used up, or the request did not complete. Try again, then check your plan.

## Frequently asked questions

**Where can I see all the articles Swashi wrote for me?**

Open Content Library in the sidebar. It lists your articles newest first with their title, category, date and word count, and shows your 50 most recent articles.

**Can I edit or delete an article in the Content Library?**

No. The Content Library has no edit or delete button. You can read an article, copy its HTML, open the live page or create a social media draft from it.

**Why is there no View Live icon next to my article?**

The View Live icon only appears when the article has a live address on your website. If the article was not published, connect or check your site in Website Settings.

**What is the Outreach Sent Emails list at the bottom?**

It shows the most recent emails your outreach campaigns sent, with the business, the recipient's email address, the subject and when it was sent. It appears only once emails have been sent.
